Cogent has established itself as a key player in the buying, selling and blending of crude oil, and by brokering crude oil deals between counterparties. Although we have been involved in deals in many regions of the United States, the Rockies has been the origin or destination for many of those deals. Cogent has established relationships with a vast array of counterparties, from Majors and Independent Refiners to small, more locally focused oil and gas companies. Cogent has also been active in the Frac Sand and Proppants business in the Rockies.
